The mat has a natural rubber base with a PU top. The PU is well known and reliable for its suction-like grip. The mat is smooth, very durable, and skid resistant, even when wet. Since both sides of the mat are sweat absorbent, moisture whisks away very quickly. This decreases the possibility of injury from slipping, and provides a more effective and efficient practice.

How Big Is The Mat?

The PU mat is 72” x 26” x 4mm (thickness). It weighs approximately 6 lbs.

How Many Patterns Are Available?

There are currently two different Matrix patterns available in our PU collection: Diamond and Evolution. The Diamond comes in four colors: Black, Gray, Green, and Sky Blue. The Evolution comes in three colors: Black, Green and Sky Blue.

Do I Still Need a Yoga Towel?

Nope! The PU material is very comfortable and provides a suction-like grip, even when wet, so no towel is needed. That means no towel bunching up on your mat or getting in the way of properly executing each pose during your practice. Take note that if your mat does get wet or you sweat during your practice, make sure to allow it to dry completely before using it again. This prevents bacteria and mold from forming over longer periods of time.

How Do I Clean My Mat?

Use a damp non-abrasive sponge and dish soap to wipe down your mat every 5-10 uses. Let it dry completely before use.

If you practice very frequently, you may want to clean your mat more often. We do not recommend using any kind of chemical cleaners or abrasive products, as this could wear or damage the mat material. You should also avoid applying body oils or lotions onto your skin before using your mat because these products could leave a stain.
